CharlieO is a singer, pianist, 12-string guitarist, and songwriter who has been entertaining for over 30 years on The Taylors Falls Riverboats. His extensive song list ranges from piano hits by Billy Joel, Elton John, Styx, and Bob Seger to guitar ballads by John Denver, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Johnny Cash, and John Prine. Charlie has sung the national anthem for the Twins, the Vikings, Gopher Football, Gopher Basketball, Gopher Baseball & Special Olympics.  He is also half of the ACES 88’s Dueling Pianos team. Sonic Dream is called “Fabulous…one of the Twin Cities’ best” by the Dakota, and their arrangements of pop songs spanning from Irving Berlin to Billie Eilish have been described as “hip retooling” by the Star Tribune. The trio performs great songs from a wide variety of decades and genres. They blend jazz, reggae, soul, and rock into one smooth, superb sound while their adventurous improvisations surprise and delight listeners. The Jorgensens are a soulful, genre‑blending duo whose music grows from a rare creative and personal bond that began in 2014 and evolved into both partnership and love. Their sound—rooted in blues, jazz, Americana, and heartfelt storytelling—feels timeless and deeply authentic, shaped by shared life experiences, St. Paul roots, and a commitment to honest, collaborative songwriting. Their albums reflect a warm, lived‑in chemistry that makes their performances both powerful and relatable.

Steve Poynter grew up in rural southwest Minnesota and northeast Iowa, surrounded by family harmonies and his dad’s guitar. Influenced by artists like Jim Croce and James Taylor, he developed a signature finger‑picking style and love for acoustic music. After a 40‑year Corrections career, he returned to songwriting and performing, now sharing his music both solo and with his duo Prairie Anthem. His original songs reflect relationships, life’s ups and downs, and the human experience with warm, vivid storytelling.

Our snack bar will be open for beer, wine, soda, lemonade, charcuterie trays, sandwiches, chips, and candy.

No need to print a paper ticket. We scan your ticket on your mobile device or look your reservation up by name.

A light jacket in the spring and fall seasons is recommended.

Cash for the snack bar, while we accept credit cards, sometimes it can be difficult to process credit cards with minimal service out on the river.

We do not allow outside food to be brought onboard, but if you have a personal water bottle you want to bring, that is okay

1. Our onboard snack bar serves beer, wine, lemonade, soda, coffee, candy, chips,  sandwiches, and charcuterie trays.
2. Pre-order a River Rock Meal for your group outing or when purchasing your tickets online.  River Rock meals included a sandwich, chips, pickles, and cookies. Beverage not included. River Rock Meal can be picked up at the snack bar upon boarding.
3. At our River Rock Patio, you can grab a pizza, sandwich, charcuterie tray, ice cream, etc., before boarding the boat.
