with your first exposure to this lifetime sport. Our patient and professional instructors will help eliminate that uneasy feeling as they guide you through your first steps on your way to becoming a confident and competent snowsports enthusiast. Our goal is not just to help you attain the skills necessary to navigate the green runs, but to also give you a base from which to gain proficiency and develop a strong bond with our winter sport. GET HOOKED ON SKIING OR SNOWBOARDING!
FOR FIRST TIME SKIERS or RIDERS AGES 13 and up
Learning to ski or snowboard has never been easier or more economical than with Wild Mountain Snowsports School’s Get Hooked on Skiing or Snowboarding program. This program is a series of three two-hour lessons. It includes an all day lift ticket and performance equipment rental on the days of your sessions. During the ski lessons you will learn to balance on your skis, how to glide and stop and how to make turns as a means of controlling your speed as you navigate green runs with confidence. The snowboard lesson will introduce you to the ABC’s of snowboarding. A is for attitude—after this series of lessons you will have a positive "I can do this!" attitude. B is for the basics—like balanced stance, controlling speed and making slow smooth turns. C is for confidence— with your basic skills and positive attitude you now have the confidence to go out and truly enjoy this marvelous sport. Both lessons will also teach you how to safely load and unload a chairlift, as well as basic slope etiquette and safety. By the end of your series you will be comfortable and confident on any green run…….GUARANTEED!

This year we have added a “Holiday Special”. Start on
the Friday after Christmas and complete your
package on January 2nd. Start 2009 as a skier or snowboarder! Class meets from 10:30am-12:00pm
and 1:00pm-2:30pm each of the two days.
