DOUBLE GREEN-Programs designated with a Double Green Circle have classes designed for first-time skiers or riders, and those who have spent a day or two on the slopes.

GREEN CIRCLE-This designation signifies the program is appropriate for guests who are comfortable gliding and making turns as well as a controlled stop on beginner terrain. Skiers have begun to make parallel turns, although a slight wedge is used most of the time. Snowboarders have just begun to link turns toe to heel.

BLUE SQUARE -Programs with a Blue Square have classes designed for guests who ski or ride comfortably on all green runs and groomed blue runs. Skiers are able to link turns of varying size at moderate speed, and control speed with line changes. Snowboarders are skidding less and experimenting with edge control.

BLACK DIAMOND -These programs will challenge the needs of guests who ski or ride confidently and with style on almost all terrain. Skiers carve arc-to-arc dynamic parallel turns and use poles effectively. Snowboarders are competent on all but the most extreme terrain, including moderate moguls and steeps, and consistently link toe and heel turns.

DOUBLE BLACK DIAMOND-Skiers and riders who are competent and comfortable on almost any slope, in almost any condition will find these programs offer the challenge they seek to reach their goals. Skiers and riders in these classes challenge the hill as they seek to become true experts.
